dinner with the peters.

well had my easter "celebrations" with mums side of the family. starting with awkward singing and praying for a whole easter mass thing with deeply religious people. walking around the church touching statues and kneeling before mother mary. you could say it isnt my cup of tea, but i prayed along. somehow feeling i shouldnt be praying since i dont feel touching a statue will increase my understanding of god or jesus.

anyhow, in the peters guidebook to life, what comes after religion is of course food and so food was on the menu. after loading granny from wheelchair to car to wheelchair to lift to house. food lays out. and then everyone starts arguing on how the food should be served. after 20 minutes of sorting out food onto plastic plates we finally eat. since the peters find it hard to take their alchohol i took the liberty along with my cousin on finishing the wine present at the table. its free isnt it?

when there isnt food normally people have to talk right? and when the peters talk, apart from religion and food there comes family issues. hence living in a blame culture, the peters end up shouting.

oh why cant family just be normal.

If I could open my arms, And span the length of the isle of Manhattan, I'd bring it to where you are, Making a lake of the East River and Hudson. And if I could open my mouth, Wide enough for a marching band to march out, They would make your name sing, And bend through alleys and bounce off other buildings. I wish we could open our eyes, To see in all directions at the same time. Oh what a beautiful view, If you were never aware of what was around you. And it is true what you said, That I live like a hermit in my own head. But when the sun shines again, I'll pull the curtains and blinds to let the light in. Sorrow drips into your heart through a pinhole. Just like a faucet that leaks and there is comfort in the sound.
